Today’s History classrooms face a variety of challenges; the most difficult of which is engaging students in their own education. This conference aims to share innovative approaches to stimulate questioning, introduce educators emerging technology, and to look at methods for contextualizing history for students. Re-evaluating and re-thinking our approach to the Ontario curriculum, after a few years of implementation, will energize teachers. Our endeavor is to have greater involvement, by all stakeholders, in the study of history.

This course examines the disciplines of anthropology, psychology and sociology.  Students will examine both historical and contemporary trends as they explore issues related to culture, society and human behaviour.
