  • This course offers a multidisciplinary approach to the study of human development throughout the life cycle, with particular emphasis on enhancing growth and development. Students will examine how early brain and child development are linked to life long learning, health, and well-being, and will develop child-care and human-relationship skills through practical experience in a community setting. This course also refines students' skills used in researching and investigating issues related to human growth and development.

  • This course is designed to cultivate an awareness of and insight into personal and family development. The course has three purposes: to help students develop a cognitive and affective understanding of the family in Canada, to help them acquire personal skills for participating in the family process, and to help them acquire the learning skills they will need to be successful in their future schooling.
